Toyota has been the official Title Sponsor of the Great Ethiopian Run since 2004.  In terms of participation, it was the greatest of all the previous and around 32,000 people took part on it.

MOENCO provided Toyota Vehicles for the elite athletes prior and during the event, while banners, T-shirts, caps and stickers carried the Toyota name and message among the participants.

It is a mass race, enjoyed not just by the country’s best and most highly motivated runners; but also by the wider public.  It has also become an annual event, a part of the country’s sporting and cultural calendar.

International Athletes, Ambassadors and Guests from abroad also took part on the race.
